Healed & Free - A Faith Based Reentry Program
While incarcerated individuals are often forgotten, but not from God. Healed & free begins with in prison spiritual classes and trauma recovery tools, helping participants discover their purpose, heal from past pain, prepare for healthy relationships, learn emotional and spiritual discipline. .....And continues stronger outside. Upon release, we walk with each person through real world challenges of reentry. Our support includes: Faith based mentorship and check ins. Housing and emergency resource navigation. ABOUT THE FOUNDER/LISA DEAN
Lisa Dean is the founder and president of Transformed by Faith, a nonprofit birthed from her own personal journey through addiction, trauma, single motherhood, and the devastating impact of incarceration within her family. With over 22 years of sobriety, Lisa has turned her deepest pain into her greatest purpose—walking alongside women and justice-involved individuals as they find healing, faith, and a new future.Driven by her belief that no one is too broken to be redeemed, Lisa created this organization to offer the support she once needed but couldn’t find: real-world tools, spiritual truth, and compassionate mentorship. Her faith in God is the foundation of everything she builds—and through Transformed by Faith, she’s helping others rise again too.“I believe in second chances, because I’ve lived one.
